A gentle place to land when your body has been through more than meets the eye
Pilates courses for women in that quiet space – where your body and heart are still waiting.

A sanctuary for you, whether you're waiting, grieving, or trying to find yourself again
This journey is created for you who are undergoing fertility treatment – or for you who have experienced a pregnancy that ended too soon. For you who have felt your body open up to life, but still stand with empty arms. Maybe you're waiting. Maybe you're grieving. Maybe you're trying to find yourself again.
This journey is not therapy – but it is a place where your body is allowed to be involved. A place where you don't have to explain yourself. A place where you don't have to perform. A place where you can be exactly as you are – strong, vulnerable, hopeful, or just tired.
Why choose this program?
When you undergo fertility treatment, or when you've lost a much-desired child, your body is subjected to immense physical and emotional pressure. It may feel unfamiliar. Or like something that has let you down. At the same time, you might find that the world around you quickly moves on – while you're still in the midst of it all.
This journey offers you a physical path back to yourself.
MELT Method – gentle care for your nervous system and connective tissue
During the course, we work with the MELT Method – a gentle yet highly effective approach that relieves tension and enhances the body's ability to heal itself.
We use specially designed MELT balls and soft rollers that deeply target the body's connective tissue – the network supporting muscles, joints, and organs. When the body has been under stress – be it physical, hormonal, or emotional – the connective tissue can become tight and dehydrated. This can lead to feelings of restlessness, tension, fatigue, and pain that are hard to articulate – and even harder to shake off.
The MELT Method helps rehydrate the tissue and stimulate the body's natural cleansing and recovery processes. It also affects the autonomic nervous system, bringing calm to the body – both physically and mentally. The exercises are performed slowly and with full attention, and many experience significant improvements in breathing, sleep, digestion, and tension levels.
For women undergoing fertility treatments or after a loss, it is particularly relevant: the body has been through something that cannot just be "talked away", but which remains in the tissue and nervous system. Here, MELT offers a concrete, comforting, and self-caring way to release some of the stress, tension, and emotional lock-in that often accompany these experiences.
MELT can also be easily used at home, and several of the techniques you learn in the class can be taken with you and applied in your daily life whenever you need calm, relief, or reconnection with your body.
Together with classical Pilates, the MELT Method offers you grounding, strength, and softness – always based on what your body specifically needs right now.

Who will be teaching?
My name is Sara Giger. I'm a trained nurse and have been working in healthcare since 2008 – in recent years, I've been in a pediatric cardiac unit, where I encounter families in vulnerable life situations daily. In addition to my work as a nurse, I run my own Pilates studio, Frog Pilates, in Nørrebro, where I teach in small, supportive groups and one-on-one training with a special focus on women's health.
I am a certified instructor in classical Pilates and MELT Method, and I have specialized in gently working with the body – especially where it has been subjected to stress, treatments, or strain, which leave marks both physically and emotionally.
In my work – both at the hospital and in the studio – I have met many women who find themselves precisely at a point where their body and mind are no longer in sync. Women longing for a place to land. A place where they don't have to explain themselves, fix anything, or fit into someone else's timeline of when 'one should have moved on.'
This course is my take on such a place. A space where you can begin to reconnect with yourself – at your own pace and with full respect for everything you've been through. A place where your body is met with professionalism, care, and understanding.
I teach with my entire background – the medical perspective, body knowledge, and human presence. And I look forward to welcoming you.
You're very welcome
If you're going through a tough time – but still want to give your body some loving attention – you are warmly welcome here. And if you know someone who is going through that – please feel free to send her my way.
Warm regards,
Sara Giger
