Welcome to our charming little Pilates studio here in inner Nørrebro – a sanctuary dedicated to strengthening both body and mind through the timeless practice of classical Pilates.
Our goal is to create a space where you can find balance, improve your posture, and build a strong connection between body and mind. Classical Pilates is more than just a form of exercise – it's a holistic approach that focuses on building strength, flexibility, and stability.
At Frog Pilates, our utmost aim is to put you at the center, whether you train privately or participate in our classes or sessions. We strive to create an intimate and professional atmosphere where your training and well-being are the focus.
Meet your instructor
My name is Sara Giger, and I am the owner and instructor here at Frog Pilates in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. Since 2015, I've been working professionally with classical Pilates, and my goal has always been to create a space where high professional standards, personal guidance, and a welcoming presence go hand in hand.
I'm a registered nurse and have worked in pediatric care for almost 20 years. This healthcare background gives me a deep understanding of body anatomy, movement, and the many phases the body goes through in life. I have a special interest in pregnancy, postpartum recovery, rehabilitation, and women's health—areas I'm continuously diving deeper into.
My own journey into Pilates started as a client. After years of dealing with back and pelvic pain, I experienced firsthand how classical Pilates could create lasting changes through intelligent, targeted movement. That experience became the start of a career driven by a true passion for helping others move better, feel stronger, and enjoy more freedom in their bodies.
I completed my Matwork certification in 2015 and went straight on to the full Comprehensive training at The Pilates Standard, which I finished in 2018.
Since then, I've kept expanding my knowledge through workshops, mentorships, and international courses with some of the most respected teachers in classical Pilates. I believe we never stop learning, so continuous professional development is a natural part of my work.
Additionally, I am certified in both the MELT Method and TRX. This combination gives me extra tools to customize sessions for each individual client, while keeping the classical Pilates method as the strong foundation for everything I teach.
My own physical journey includes a herniated disc, hip surgery, and later on, two hip replacements. Going through all of this has shown me just how crucial the right kind of training is for your function, quality of life, and trust in your own body. It gives me a deep understanding of everyone who comes to Frog Pilates with pain, injuries, or a desire to rebuild strength and mobility.
At Frog Pilates, I teach small group classes with a maximum of eight participants, as well as private sessions on all the classical Pilates apparatus. The small class size allows for personalized guidance, hands-on corrections, and teaching where everyone is seen and met exactly where they are.
For me, classical Pilates isn't about quick fixes or short-term results. It’s about building a strong, functional body with a solid foundation—one movement at a time. This is the transformation I see in my clients every single day, and it's the reason why I'm still so incredibly passionate about what I do.
I can't wait to welcome you to Frog Pilates and support you on your journey toward a stronger, more balanced, and functional body.
Trust the method – it really works.
